Dairy Consultant- KZN and Gauteng
Jane Holliday is an animal and grassland scientist and obtained her MSc from the University of Natal in 2007. She has worked as a consultant in the dairy industry for the past 16 years and has also owned and managed a dairy in her personal capacity. Jane is currently a director and team leader of Intelact South Africa. Jane has an in depth understanding of dairy farming systems and has built up strong relationships with her consulting clients. Her skills include project management and people liaison required for forming and working in multidisciplinary teams.
ANTON VENTER
Dairy Consultant- KZN and Zimbabwe
After graduating with a BSc Agric (Hons) with Animal Science as a major, Anton started his career in the fertilizer industry getting to grips with soils, fertilizers, pastures, maize and dairy economics as the primary focus areas. He then set up a company in SA to import mixer wagons and focused on using them to best advantage in pasture based dairy systems. Thereafter he invested in animal feed milling and focused his energies on feeding dairy cows on pastures. His passion still remains soils & maximizing profits off pastures. Presently Anton is a shareholder & director of Intelact SA Pty (Ltd) .Anton consults in KwaZulu Natal as well as in Botswana and Zimbabwe
AIDAN BOMFORD
Dairy Consultant- KZN
Aidan has been consulting with Intelact since 2012 and hopes to make a lasting impression on the South African dairy industry. He encourages his clients to have a clear vision for their business around which a strategy is built. Monthly monitoring and tracking (both financial and physical) indicates whether the business is on course to meet the owners goals.
EMMA KEAN
Dairy and Beef Consultant- KZN and Freestate
Emma grew up on a mixed farming operation and has a passion for agriculture. After studying agricultural management and business science at university she started working for a dairy data analysis company and then went on to manage her family dairy farm.
Emma has 10 years experience in the industry and started the Intelact Beef portfolio in 2020. She has a wide knowledge basis of livestock and thrives off making a difference in her clients operations.
MICHELE LOUW
Beef Consultant- KZN
After graduating from University of Pretoria with an honours in Animals Science in 2012, Michele started her career in poultry nutrition, but quickly realised that her passion was with ruminant nutrition and specialised in Beef and Sheep nutrition. Early 2021 Michele joined the Intelact group as a beef and dairy consultant to expand her passion with working with ruminants. Michele's aim is to enable her clients to reach their goals in an efficient and practical manner through strategic planning and performance monitoring with its financial implications.
SHAUN AINSWORTH
Dairy Consultant : Eastern Cape and KZN
After Completing his BSC (Hons) in Animals Science in 2011, Shaun began his career as a farm manager in the KZN Midlands, post managing Shaun started his own dairy farm milking cows and processing milk for market and at the same time followed his passion for bovine genetics and joined up with an international semen company as a genetic consultant. His passion for cows, genetics and profitability have driven him to explore all levels of dairy farm management to try help make the farmers he works with more successful.
ISSIE LIEBENBERG
Beef Consultant : Free State + Limpopo
Issie has extensive knowledge and experience in both managing a beef stud and running successful beef enterprises. He joined our team in 2023 and is based in the Free State and Limpopo. While his passion is for stud, he is focused on getting the most out of the system that we are running.
